Happy Late Halloween! What a great time! This year we had so much fun trick-or-treating with Maddy. She couldn't say trick-or-treat (although one guy swears she did), but she had no problem walking up to the doors and holding her hand out for candy. She just loved it! Her favorite part was walking around with her bag on her arm and putting the candy in it.

We went around the neighborhood with the Abbotts and Schmidts. The kids really did great. The guys went back to hand out candy after about a half an hour, but the kids wanted to keep going so us women took them for another half an hour. I was really shocked by how quickly the kids understood what to do. Here's a few pictures of the kids in action...

From the Front
We joined the guys back at the Schmidts for the last hour of trick-or-treating to help pass out candy. The kids played and ate a lot of candy. They were on a sugar buzz the whole night.

Kendal tried stealing Maddy's candy, but Maddy wouldn't have it.

"Get your hands off my candy!"
Maddy was very protective of her trick-or-treat bag all of the night. When we got home (mind you it was 10 pm), she was still playing with her bag pretending she was trick-or-treating. Too bad Halloween comes around only once a year!

Walking up to the front door

"Trick-or-Treat!"

"Thanks, I'll just put this in my bag"

"Now, what piece of candy do I want???"
