2 Months/Sisters/The Crew

2 Months = Happy, Talking, and Sleeping!!!Here's our chunker. At 2 months she has topped both her sisters. She may have been the smallest at birth, but is officially the largest at 2 months! And she loves to talk and smile. Her stomach issues are getting better after trying both zantac and prevacid. Prevacid seemed to help the most, but we've tapered her off it after a couple weeks and she seems to be pretty good. The smiling and the talking have been so much fun though as that really wasn't Mylee's thing, however Kynz is all about it.

Somewhere after 2 months Kynzee decided to start sleeping through the night. Yes, again smashing her sisters records. Didn't think too much of it the first couple nights, but she just continued and continued. So officially it was somewhere near 10 or 11 weeks I believe. We thought she'd be our fussiest, yet doesn't affect her sleeping.

Happy Girl
With her sisters at 2 months!

Some action shots of the older 2 playing with eachother. It's been a real joy seeing their relationship develop. You can see, they enjoy eachother quite a bit. Another thing we transitioned was Mylee in with Maddy for sleeping. Surprisingly it was pretty easy. Actually tougher a month is as they (especially Mylee) just want to play instead of settle down. Even after a half hour of reading books, singing and prayers, all she wants to do sometimes is play. Cute, but tough. Yet sometimes when we put her down by herself she read herself to sleep. I'll have to get a picture of the two sleeping to post. They are so cute!!!
The Packer Trio!!!

Sisters being sisters!!!
I just loved this pic of Mylee as she just seems to have grown up before my eyes(too quick).

Kynz doesn't know what she's in store for with these 2! :)

The Crew's back together at Spicers!!!

Even though all of our friends moved away (yes, we have taken it a little personal) :) , we got together at Spicers in Hartland for some fun and our annual Halloween picture shoot.
Mylee, Hayden, Maddy, and Kendal

We had tons of fun on the tube slide.

Aug thru Labor Day

The Girls-
Kynz getting used to her new digs.

She gets this sleepy style from her mom. :)

Mylee Jo has started really getting into her babies. She feeds with a spoon, her booby, rocks baby, and puts her to sleep. It's cute, however when she actually tries to take care of Mckynzee, she covers her head with the blanket. She shows interest which is nice to see and tries to say "KYNzee".

Another thing Mylee really got into as her little sister was born was books. She has become a reading queen. It's cute because Maddy never really was all that interested in books until she got older. Mylee has shown interest in the puzzles just like her sister and is getting her nose, ears, and eyes down, as well as some farm animal noises.

As you can see, Maddy has taken her big sister role even more seriously now with 2! :) She is very loving with Kynz and very playful with Mylee. It is a joy to see.

You can see the pride in her eyes can't you!

Camping and Up North

We spent a weekend at the Drayton's cottage with the entire family when Benny was in town. This is the only picture we seemed to take. So bad about that sometimes, but we had a great time seeing Benny, Amy, Jackson and the rest of the Drayton crew.

The next weekend we headed up to our campground in Mancelona and met Papa Jack, Gramma Simone and Jordyn. We had a great time, with great weather to enjoy the pool, horseshoes(thanks for the beating Jack), playground behind the girls in the pic, and of course s'mores!

After camping, Jaclynn headed north with her folks with the girls as I had some deadlines for a work project that was taking me out of town the following week. So the girls took a vacation up north without Daddy. I don't think they missed me much as they had all the cousins to play with since it was still summer vacation. Dad missed them like crazy!!! I hope I never have to go that long again without seeing my girls, but knew they were having a great time. I had to laugh cause it was like pulling teeth to get Mads or Jojo to speak to me on the phone as all they wanted to do was play.

How big am I at 1 month. Wow! I'll have to add her stats later. Kynz has had some digestive issues, so we've been battling that some, not just spitting up, but pain. So it's been a little difficult as her high pitched squeals are tough to hear. But only getting up 2 times a night pretty consistently at this point and still a good eater (as you can see)!

Skiing

Jaclynn still not able to ski (Dr's orders), but you can see that Maddy is getting the hang of it, even though we still need to bribe/beg/force her to just try it. :)
Look at my big skier!!!

Jojo loving the water as we were able to take the girls to the lake a bunch this summer. She's just a fish now, scary at times cause there's no fear, but nice to see her get acclamated to it.
This was when the Spindler's came up. It was nice getting them out on the water as we lucked out and the weather cooperated.
How cute is Mckynzee in her rash guard!
Labor Day weekend-
Cousing Michael and Jamie got married over Labor Day over in Minnesota. So we took some time and made a vacation from it. Started out with a trip to Ludington on Wednesday night. We boarded the SS Badger at 8am the next day and headed across Lake Michigan to Manitowac and then drove down to Fondy to see the Coons.
All Aboard! The girls as we headed out of port.
Friday morning we woke up and headed for Minnesota. It was another 5-6 hour trip. The kids were great though as we car pooled with the Coons. The hotel was PERFECT as it had a nice water park attached. Perfect for the cousins as you can see, it was hard getting them out of there.
Jojo floating on her back. She's getting pretty comfortable and went down the slides with dad and loved it. Mads was nonstop with the cousins and was tough to get her to hang out with me at times.
The girls in our room.

Jordyn, Mads, Jaelyn, and Lexi at rehearsal dinner. Michael and Jamie got the kids there own pizza especially for them for the dinner. How neat is that? Thanks guys, you really thought of your guests when planning for this very special event. What a great weekend!!!

Jordyn, Maddy, Brooke, and Jaelyn

Izzy, Brooke, Jaelyn, John V, Mads, and Jordyn. Good looking crew eh?

How cute are these two? We got a baby picture out of Jaclynn and I couldn't believe how much Mylee Jo resembled her. I don't see it that much as I just see them as themselves, however seeing that picture was neat to see how similar they truly are.

Out on the dance floor. Maddy lasted pretty late and fell asleep in dad's arms dancing. It is extremely heart warming to have your little girl just keep wanting to dance with you until she just crashes in your arms.

Here are the two responsible for these beautiful 12 grandkids (yes, only 2 boys, 10 girls). Not bad to have them all pretty much cooperate eh?

One of our first official pictures of our family of 5. You can see I got sick of my hair and buzzed it. It was nice, however as you can tell, the thinning of my hair is much more noticeable when you shave it short!!! :) Pretty lucky guy eh??? :)

We headed back to the Coons on Sunday, then back across the lake Monday (labor day). The trip back was rough as the wind was bad. We'll just say we all thought we were going to loose it towards the end and were all glad when we got to dry land. Amazing what a little rocking motion will do to you as the trip over was awesome!!! We'll have to see how often we do this again as it is convenient, but more expensive and no time savings. We only made it to my mom's that night as it was 11 when we got in. What a great weekend though. :)

The 3 sisters together for the first time

The girls see Mckynzee's hair for the first time.

The sisters not sure what to think about Mckynzee's high pitched squeal. And boy does she have one. It gets us too!

Mom and her girls!!!

A day old with some of the bruising gone now.

Day 2 - Maddy loving her newest sister.

Day 2 - For Mylee, the novelty is over and all she wants to do it play! :)

After an extra day in the hospital and some photo therapy for her jaundice, we get to head home

First bath, not too happy.

Well, until she gets back in Mom's arms.

At Mckynzee's next appt, her jaundice levels were up. We tried the bili blanket at home, but her levels still went up the next day. So we had to head back to the hospital for triple photo therapy treatment. We had to stay that night and the entire next day, but then were able to leave that next evening. Here she is under the light. She was a trooper!!!

Finally home!

In the meantime, Maddy had vacation bible school that week. We were able to head to the celebration ceremony on Friday. Maddy loved it and did a great job. We got there to see her dancing and singing with the whole group. It really warmed are hearts seeing our big girl growing up and taking part in VBS. Over 200 kids participated in it this year. Gramma Simone dropped her off every day and went in like a big girl and did a great job. A huge thanks for Gramma Simone, Papa Jack, and Gramma Nancy for holding down the fort while we stayed at the hospital with Mckynzee.

The Kriegl girls after the ceremony.

The girls dancing on stage after people cleared out to eat.

Jojo following in Maddy's footsteps as a dancer!

Back at home, Mcky gets spoiled with kisses and laughter from her older sisters.

What a range of hair color eh?

Maddy is an awesome big sister!

We got over to see Papa Jon that next weekend so he could meet his youngest grand daughter. I will cherish this picture forever!!! A very proud dad, with his dad and little girls!

Papa Jon and Kynz! (He looks tough in his army cap eh?) :)
