Fall Harvest

Saturday we spent the day with Jason's family in DeWitt. We had a great fall harvest, with apple cider, caramel for dipping apples, pumpkin rolls, and apple crisp. Yum, yum, yum, and yum! We enjoyed visiting with everyone and playing outside with all the kids. Maddy was the only girl surrounded by 3 first cousins and 3 second cousins...all boys. She was a bit overwhelmed by all the testosterone. She was pretty shy and wanted grandma to hold her most of the time.

We enjoyed the beautiful fall day by taking grandpa out for a walk. Maddy even got to ride with grandpa for awhile.

(I know she's wearing a Spartan shirt.)

Sunday after church we went to the cider mill again to enjoy apple cider and cinnamon donuts. They actually had pumpkins this time so we managed to get a quick picture of Maddy but it was a struggle.

Maddy, of course, wanted to see all the animals again. She actually is starting to understand that cows say "moo" and sheep say "baa". Her favorite animal there though still is the duck.

After the cider mill we went out for lunch and watched the Packers game. I can't believe the Packers are 5-1.
