Maddy, Mylee, and Mckynzee: Halloween Costume Photo Shoot

This past week we had a lot of fun. Thursday night the Spindlers stopped at our house to stay the night. They were on their way up to Marquette so our place is a good place to stop to break up the trip. Maddy and I were sleeping when they got in so we didn't get to see them until Friday morning, but just for a short visit before they left. Maddy, of course, was very excited to see them, especially Rylee.

Friday night we went out for Chinese with the Schmidts. Marnie and I were out shopping with the girls so we met up with the guys afterwards. Maddy and Kendal were pretty good while we were out, but a food fight at the restaurant. I guess thats what we get for having them sitting across from each other.

After dinner we went back to the Schmidts and played with the girls in Kendal's new castle tent. Then we got a few games of Sequence in before getting home in time to greet my mom and auntie. They came down for a few days to hang with Maddy. All of us girls went shopping all day on Saturday, while Jason watched football with his dad. We had a ton of fun, but I unfortunately broke the bank.

Sunday after church, we spent a few hours at the cider mill waiting for the Abbotts and Schmidts. It was a great day to be outside. Once the gang arrived, we had our annual halloween costume photo shoot at the pumpkin patch. We thought last year was difficult with the 3 kids, but it was nothing compared to this year. The kids would not sit still for a second. So here's what we managed to get...

After the photo shoot, Maddy went and played a maraca and tambourine with a band that was playing some music. It was pretty funny, how she just got right in there with the other kids.
