I can hardly believe it myself, but Maddy went poo-poo on the potty for the first time with Jason on Wednesday night, Jan. 3rd, I was out getting my hair cut and missed it, but they saved the proof for me. Maddy was so excited to show me her poopy when I got home. Last night before bed she went pee-pee on the potty and today she went pee-pee 3 more times and a few gas puffers. We are so proud of her for using the big girl potty. We aren't officially trying to potty train her nor do we think she is anywhere close to being potty trained but this was still pretty exciting for all of us. She at least seems to understand the concept. I think all the time of going potty with momma has helped. Good job Mads!
Oh my gosh...she just went poopy on the potty! A big poopy!!!
So as you can see by the date, I originally wrote this post almost 3 weeks ago. I wanted to get some pictures up with the post and then 3 weeks went by before I did it. Sorry. Anyway, Maddy is still going pee-pee and poo-poo on the potty. She has even gone at daycare, at a few different restaurants, and at a bunch of our friends houses. I would say she prefers going on her "Dough-dough" (Dora) potty though.
She doesn't getting the reading on the potty trait from me,although I do like her choice of reading material.
